As the Founder of Project be You, my goal is to give children a friendly and encouraging environment to learn valuable communication and emotional intelligence skills. At the age of 16, I immigrated to the United States from Russia and faced the challenge of adapting to an unfamiliar environment while having to learn a new language. I know firsthand what it feels like to be misunderstood and how challenging it can be to communicate in different settings. I was fortunate enough to receive extensive corporate experience in both sales and communication. I was taught different techniques and skills and moved into a variety of management and training roles. My passion has always been working with children and as a mother of two growing kids, I found it difficult to find a place that focused on the art of communication. In 2014, I formed a youth leadership and public speaking class with the assistance of Toastmaster International. Since then I have worked with children from the ages of 5 and up in both public and private school settings.
